Cotswold Adventures

A Magical Destination

Wild View could be your new favourite holiday retreat. It boasts a very quiet & warm south west facing woodland valley. It could be the quietest holiday cottage in the Cotswolds.
You will hear the birds, the trees, the stream in its grounds and on some days, the odd Royal Helicopter landing nearby or winter pheasant shoot, but there is No traffic noise to be heard & it’s a breath of fresh air away in an idyllic secluded spot.

Although it feels a remote wooded valley, there are houses not too far away, but it keeps its privacy when needed. Wild View has a large patio area with reclining sun loungers & teak table & chairs in season, it also has a smaller patio that catches the morning sun for breakfast time with picnic table. It also has an outdoor bath area with magical view to wooded valley, a stand alone outdoor shower & a fire pit area.

Things To Do in Minchinhampton

Minchinhampton, perched on the Cotswold hills in Gloucestershire, is a delightful blend of history, nature, and quiet charm. Whether you’re passing through or staying a few days, there’s plenty to see and experience.
Why Visit?
An ancient market town with mellow Cotswold stone buildings and a central 17th century Market House that reflects its medieval woolen trade heritage. Set next to Minchinhampton Common, offering sweeping views, open grassland, wildlife, and space to roam. A close-knit community with local cafés, independent shops, and a genuine off-the-beaten-track feel.
Walk the Common & Explore Nature

Walk the Common & Explore Nature

Minchinhampton Common is arguably the town’s greatest natural asset. It’s a large expanse of open grassland dotted with ancient earthworks, burial mounds, and field systems. Walking here gives you panoramic views across the Stroud valleys. Don’t miss the Longstone of Minchinhampton — a pre Roman standing stone surrounded by folklore.
